Industrial Electrician 1st shift

Clampco Products, Inc., a family-owned manufacturer located in Wadsworth, Ohio is seeking a Quality Engineer.  Individuals in this position will be involved in the daily support of all Departmental, Engineering Production and Company quality standards. This position plays a critical role in overall product quality and customer fulfilment.

Individuals in this position can perform the following duties and tasks with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Responsible for performing all phases of electrical repairs, AC and DC currents, AC up to 600 volts, throughout the plant safely.
• Performs testing with use of multimeter, clamp meter, etc.. as part of preventive, corrective, and emergency repairs on all equipment.
• Perform installation of new or replacement electrical and instrumentation equipment, as well as electrical construction.
• Locate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical & instrumentation of equipment and controls malfunctions. Document problems and results and report them to Maintenance Manager.
• Follow standard safety procedures, correct safety and environmental hazards and report them to appropriate supervisor.
• Work with the engineering group on installation and debugging new automated machinery.
• Demonstrate safe working behaviors including lock/tag out procedures, use of PPE, and safe operation of high-lift and other mobile equipment operation.

Requirements of the Position / Experience

• High School or G.E.D. / Additional trade or certifications will be considered
• 3+ years as industrial electrician in manufacturing or similar environment
• Ability to work in team for best results through problem-solving and effective communication
• Safety focus is a must
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
• AS9100 and AS9102 documentation experience a plus
• Must be able to work hours required to support production operations on day shift
